Most issues are adapter pairing. Run through these first — they fix nearly everything.

The app can't find my adapter

  1. Make sure the adapter is firmly seated in the OBD port and its LED is on.
  2. Switch the car ON (not just accessory).
  3. Don't pair the adapter in iOS Settings — Bluetooth LE adapters pair inside the app. If it appears in Settings → Bluetooth as connected, forget it there first.
  4. If the adapter has a sleep switch (vLinker FS), make sure it's awake.
  5. Toggle Bluetooth off and on, then scan again from the Connect screen.

Connected, but some readings show "—"

Different model years expose slightly different signals. Values that can't be verified for your car are simply not shown rather than shown wrong. Turning on Settings → Experimental signals reveals community-reported values that haven't been confirmed for every year — clearly marked.
