Privacy policy
The short version: we collect nothing. Here's the long version, which says the same thing with more words.
What the app collects
Nothing. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting service, and no servers. We never see your data, so we can't sell it, leak it, or be compelled to hand it over.
Where your vehicle data lives
Readings from your vehicle (battery health snapshots, charging sessions, trips, diagnostic logs) are stored in the app's local database on your iPhone, protected by your device's own encryption. Deleting the app deletes the data.
Bluetooth
The app uses Bluetooth for exactly one purpose: talking to your OBD adapter. It does not scan for, connect to, or collect information about any other device.
The optional AI explanation feature
"Explain what this means for me" runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device models. No text is sent anywhere.
Diagnostic log sharing
The diagnostic log export exists so you can choose to share raw adapter traffic with the developer to help verify signals for your model year. Sharing is manual, initiated by you, through the standard iOS share sheet. The log contains diagnostic frames and your VIN; share it only if you're comfortable with that.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the change will be visible on this page before an app update ships it. Since the app has no server, a change could only ever make this policy longer, not your data less private.
